Anchored by the Orange Regional Gallery and fed by a food-and-wine scene that keeps drawing creative people to the district, Orange supports more working artists and photographers than most towns its size. When it comes to reproducing that work to archival standard - exhibition editions, giclée reproductions of originals, photographic prints for sale - the choice has usually meant posting files to a Sydney lab and hoping the colour comes back right.
We do it differently: every print is proofed against the original or a calibrated file in our Fyshwick studio, printed with pigment inks on archival Canson, Hahnemühle and Ilford stocks, and quality-checked before it travels. Scanning, restoration and framing live under the same roof, so nothing is lost between suppliers.
No further than Sydney - without the mountains
Orange to the studio is about 250 km through Cowra and Boorowa - around three hours of open highway, roughly the same distance as Sydney without the crawl over the Blue Mountains. Many Central West clients pair a drop-off with a Canberra trip: leave originals or files with us, approve proofs remotely, then collect finished work on the return leg.
Or skip the drive entirely. Files upload directly, originals travel by tracked post or courier, and finished prints are packed flat or tubed and freighted to your Orange address. Printing typically takes 2-4 working days plus 2-5 working days in transit, confirmed with every quote. The same run serves Cowra, Canowindra, Blayney and Millthorpe.
