One certified studio, a whole region served
Lucent Imaging works from a single studio in Fyshwick - Canberra's only Canson and Hahnemühle certified fine art print studio (Canson: AU-12609 | Hahnemühle: 260582), and carbon neutral. Giclée printing, archival digitisation, restoration and custom framing reach the surrounding region by studio pickup, courier and freight.
How regional jobs work
Distance rarely changes the job. Digital files upload directly; originals travel by tracked post, courier, or with you on a Canberra trip. Proofs are approved remotely or in the print room, and finished work is collected from the studio or packed flat or tubed and freighted to your door. Freight is quoted with the job, so there are no surprises at the end.
Four towns get their own dedicated pages: Queanbeyan, Goulburn, Yass and Batemans Bay. The corridors below cover everywhere in between.
North - Yass Valley and the Tablelands
Murrumbateman is close enough that studio drop-offs are the norm - many clients pair one with a Canberra run down the Barton Highway. Gunning and Crookwell jobs usually travel by post or courier, with finished prints freighted back [TODO: confirm freight time to Gunning/Crookwell].
South - the Monaro and the Snowys
Cooma is the Monaro's anchor and an easy run up the highway for drop-offs; Bredbo sits right on the way. For Berridale and Jindabyne we work freight-first - alpine landscape photography is a natural fit for archival giclée printing, and finished prints ship tubed or flat to the mountains [TODO: confirm freight time to Jindabyne].
East - Kings Highway and the coast
Bungendore and Braidwood both carry strong local arts communities and are close enough for studio visits on a market-day trip. Further down the hill, Nelligen, Mogo, Moruya and Narooma are served the same way as Batemans Bay: files or posted originals in, remote proofing, and finished prints freighted to the coast [TODO: confirm freight time to Narooma].
