Picture Framing for the Yass Valley

For valley makers, the framing question is usually a logistics question: how do prints, originals and exhibition pieces get framed without a week of running around? Answer: one run down the Barton Highway, one workshop that prints and frames in the same building, everything ready together.

Print and frame in a single trip

Most framing jobs that come to us from Yass and Murrumbateman are really print-and-frame jobs: an original to reproduce, an edition to print, and frames needed for the lot. Because the frame bench sits beside the certified print room, the whole job runs as one - scan or print approved, mouldings and matboards chosen against the actual print, and everything collected finished on your next trip through.

For work headed to a wall that isn't yours - group shows, cafe hangs, market stock - we build to a budget per piece and keep the spec on file, so the next batch frames identically without another drive down.

The Barton Highway run

Yass to the Fyshwick workshop is about [TODO: confirm ~60 km / 50 min]. A typical job takes two visits at most: one to drop off and choose materials, one to collect - and if you approve proofs and swatches remotely, it can be a single collection trip. Typical framing turnaround is [TODO: confirm framing turnaround], confirmed with your quote.

Large or fragile framed pieces that shouldn't ride in a ute can be delivered to the valley - ask when we quote.
