Expected Delays: Oct 27 - Nov 10th

We've had a bad bout of the flu hit our team, and we're running a little slower than usual. Please be patient with us while we catch up on our existing workload. If you have any questions, please email us where possible.

What are optical brightening agents (OBA’s)?

“OBA” is an abbreviation for “optical brightening agent.” These chemical compounds are often added to the coating of papers, such as RC papers, or in some cases, to the base paper itself. Their purpose is to increase the paper’s whiteness.

Achieving precise print results with papers with higher OBA content can be more challenging.

Papers with high OBA content may turn yellow over time, discolouring the base paper.
